Well it's official, apparently CBS made up the entire Bush NG story

I've heard several newsbreaks on a few different radio stations (even AAR), and they all say that the story was and is discredited. The docs were fake and the content was fake. CBS apparently made it all up.

I'm fuming mad right now. They were just busted for bribing Armstrong Williams with tax dollars, yet they still have the gall to close this story out with a mammoth lie. Sigh, I guess it's nothing new. I feel so helpless.

to ADMIT THAT THE DOCUMENTS WERE INDEED FALSE! So, my question...where's the story if nobody will confirm that the documents were false?

The story was just tied up in a neat little package by BushCo. Rove sent out the new story, and the whores are now reporting it over and over. Truth be damned, the only thing that is reported now is what BushCo dictates. It's clear now that the media is much worse than I ever imagined.

Although the panel said it couldn't prove conclusively the documents were forged, it said CBS News failed to authenticate them and falsely claimed an expert had done so when all he had done was authenticate one signature.

It could have been last Friday or this one. What is CBS trying to do, put itself on the same level and Armstrong Williams? Every angle will be covered ad nauseum except the content of the memos. Its all been put into a blender and turned into one big mess of a cocktail. Or a black hole from which the truth will never escape. I feel just like I did on Nov 2. We're still going backwards, buried in disinformation and spin.
