Why we will continue to lose |
|
1. John Kerry is a war hero
But we didnt have anyone saying he was in a format where people could hear.
2. Howard Dean's scream was taken out of context.
But we didn't have anyone saying it was so in a format where people could hear.
3. George W Bush is a failure of a president.
But we didn't have anyone saying it was so in a format where people could hear.
4. George W Bush is ruining our environmental regulations.
But we didn't have anyone saying it was so in a format where people could hear.
5. The GOP was/is just trying to scare people. Notice there have been no terror warnings since the election?
But we didn't have anyone saying it was so in a format where people could hear.
6. The democrats are not wimps. We just like to be smart about decisions we make.
But we didn't have anyone saying it was so in a format where people could hear.
7. Iraq is a mistake. We are rushing to war with no endplan. The evidence is lies.
But we didn't have anyone saying it was so in a format where people could hear.
8. Geroge W Bush has created the biggest budget deficit in U.S. history.
But we didn't have anyone saying it was so in a format where people could hear.
9. George W Bush and his buddies are enjoying shipping your job overseas.
But we didn't have anyone saying it was so in a format where people could hear.
10. The GOp is going to ruin S.S. and greatly effect our lives.
But we didn't have anyone saying it was so in a format where people could hear.
Thank you, Bill Clinton and the congress of 1996 for weakening the media ownership rules from a max of 30 to a total of thousands per company. Shame on you. Shame on you Soros, Speilberg and Turner for not using your money for a communciations infrastructure.

1. Are our PR people stupid? |
|
That's what I want to know.
We cannot just blame the media without blaming our piss poor communications people.
YES the media is a problem. So you get around it. That's their job. How the hell else are they earning their 100K salaries?

4. How do you get around it? |
|
The entire mainstream media is compromised. How do you get the message to the millions of people who aren't reading blogs of other internet sources for their news?

Pay me $100K, let me work on it a few weeks, and I bet you I come up with SOMETHING, which is more than the current crew is coming up with.
Actually, for starters:
They can demand that we know who else is being paid to support Republican policy. That would be beneficial in a number of ways, least of which not being the fact that we'd have some kind of truth in our media, always a good starting point.

2. This is pretty much true. |
|
But we need to find a way to get around that. But the other factor is, will people wake up? Will they see that their lives have gotten worse since Bush became pResident? But we need to get our PR people out there. This can't go on forever, even if it could theoretically, it cannot be allowed to.

Bush's media machine wouldn't have been possible without him.
Always hated that Telecom act.

8. We lost because of the voting machines period. |
|
And the sooner we quit condemning ourselves for imagined inadequacies or sins, the sooner we can set about the business of remedying the problem. Kerry won the election by a substantial number of votes if the votes had been accurately counted. The exit polls were about right in all instances, the first ones, not the ones that were "re-calibrated" to fit the results that came in from the machines later on. As in Germany and everywhere else in the world, the exit polls were well w/i the margin of error and Kerry won in OH and PA and probably also in FL (a later exit poll gave Bush a .1% advantage, so it's possible Bush won FL, but I doubt it). The exit polls also did not have Bush winning by the margins given in the so-called red states. NM was definitely a Kerry state and MN was more in Kerry's favor than the results supposedly showed, etc. etc. etc. It's fine to criticize the principles of the Dem or Repub parties but it's not a good idea to spend so much time in sackcloth and ashes or in condemning ourselves or others.
