"Fight for the Next Election Starts Now": DFA's Other Inaugural.
http://bsd.democracyforamerica.com/modules/event2/jan20_jump.php

SNIP..."Corporate sponsors and big donors have been writing checks for $250,000 each to pay for George Bush's inaugural soiree in Washington, DC. Meanwhile, Democracy for America has been getting ready to celebrate the other people who were elected in November -- fiscally responsible, socially progressive Democrats who won up and down the ballot.

They did it with your support, and we all have reason to celebrate on inauguration day. Everyone at DFA and our candidates nationwide deeply appreciate all the work you have done.

So let's kick off the new year of building on the progress we've made by getting your friends and family together for an inaugural house party.

Please consider hosting a house party to celebrate the political change you have already set in motion and kick off the fight for in the future. Governor Dean will be hosting his own house party in Vermont with friends and family, and will be holding a national conference call with all of the participating parties.

We are asking that each party raise a total of $500 which will go to supporting future candidates up and down the ticket. The fight for the next election and beyond starts now.
