Why is Bush such a LOSER? |
|
Hey, I'm just trying to balance things out on democraticunderground. I see a few threads asking why do the dems continue to lose and why did Kerry lose. It really doesn't look very good for people visiting our website. So, I ask again, why is Bush such a loser? Thoughts?

He seems to be completely amoral, completely without any compassion or sense of human decency, he was raised to only think of himself, he is not that bright (I think the Daily Show uses the term "technically retarded"), he seems to still be actively alcoholic and/or experiencing a fairly serious medical problem or problems, and he's just flat-out evil. I doubt he even gives a shit about the people who voted for him and/or raised money for him, much less anyone else.
The only person who exists is him. He doesn't think about the future, doesn't care about the past. He's not reflective or insightful. He doesn't seem to have any kind of value system beyond what the religious right expect him to say or do. For having almost the entire government under the power of his party, he is still amazingly ineffective at most things he attempts.
He has no problem ordering the US military to pre-emptively invade and attack a country that did us no harm and posed us no thread. He has no problem with US servicemembers and innocent Iraqis continuing to die in said war.
Should I go on? There's more...
Yes? Ok, I will. When you listen to him (if you can stand it) you get the strong sense no one is home. There is no thinking going on in there. He is a poor public speaker, to make an understatement and cannot even smile without also looking like he is about to give someone a wedgie or possibly slide a knife into their back.
He is not funny, but seems to imagine himself to be, he seems to be totally lacking in knowledge about other cultures or countries (doubly amazing in someone who is supposed to be a "world leader" representing a HUGE country). He is intellectually void, incurious.
He seems about as deep as a pool of spit.

a few months before the election that said " why don't you try winning this election on merit alone? Don't you think that would be much more satisfiying than cheating?"

"cheat" to win. He does it often and deliberately, and the reason is he knows and believes he is a loser.

7. I agree -- he never achieved anything on his own |
|
We went from a president who achieved virtually everything on his own talents, ambition and work, to one who achieved virtually everything through his dad's legacy, money, and power.
And I think junior knows how inferior he is, and that's why he's such a jerk.

I work with a lady who is related to the Walker side of the Bush family. She's met Dubya a number of times. She says he's very sweet, but dumb as a box of rocks, and she's pretty sure he's still doing coke even now. So....I have to wonder, if that's the case, how does he get past those pesky annual health exams that the office requires? I tend to think those folks can be bought/threatened off too then. She also says he's not religious in the least--it's all an act to get the religious right to do what he wants. She's a recovering republican herself, and thinks dubya will be impeached this time around. She also says that for the most part, the books such as Kitty Kelly's, are fairly accurate. Does anyone else remember stories about how he abused animals as a kid--really nasty, torture kind of stuff (or am I totally losing it?!) I know that most psychiatrists say that's how psychopaths get started.........

17. oh, you're not losing it! |

According to conventional wisdom, sociopaths are those that have never learned to empathise and only care about their own needs.
The three leading indicators for a sociopathic child are:
Abuse of animals Setting Fires Wetting the bed
Well, Georgie used to light up firecrackers and shove them down the throats of frogs just to watch them explode---fire and torture, that's 2 criteria in one!
...And how much you wanna bet he hit the trifecta...???

But he just sucks as President. It is no freakin' secret this man is as dumb as they come. DL Hughley said best when he said:
"Sorry ya'll, but I can't vote for someone my kids can beat at a spelling-bee."
It also doesn't help he is such a hypocrite.

27. Ummm...he's not a candidate anymore. Kerry stated his points and the RW |
|
either distorted them or ignored them. You are buying into the RW propaganda of Kerry running a poor campaign. He didn't. He drew 20,000-40,000 people to his rallies. Bush had faaaar less and they had to sign loyalty oathes to be admitted. You are being conned. Don't let it happen again..
