Margaret Carlson from the Capitol Gang hit Novak hard during Saturday's show. While discussing Tom DeLay and the ethics committee, Margaret thought that some republican members felt some shame over the rules change.

that helped give us Bush. Carlson is part of the not-inconsiderable left media contingent whose bile towards both the Clintons smashed America in the back of the head and led us directly here.

She'd have to do years and years of pennance to even have a chance of getting back in my good graces. Too many Dems are willing to let a past of betrayal be erased with one good turn. Like one favorable Marueen Dowd article or one favorable Matthews grilling would redeem them. Not in my world. These media whores have years and lives to make up for. I'd no more forgive them than I would Bush if he did one small good thing. I don't even understand that attitude.
