The thing that worries me is that Germany had to get slapped upside the head by the World before it made great progress! Should I expect a sound slapping?

...brought to the United States to communities now termed Red States. Their dream of a fascist dominated state is being fulfilled by the lust and greed of the neo-conservative republicans. So don't hold your breath that the U.S. corporate state will become more socially progressive anytime soon.
