For those with Dial-Up who couldn't hear Dean's Speech/C-Span Link!!

This is the only link that worked for me to be able to hear the controversial "Speech." I refused to watch any TV coverage yesterday or today so I was left "clueless" about the speech except for what I read here on DU last night and today.

For those of you who want to see the "REALITY" and care about Howard Dean, please go there and watch the whole speech. Save it to file to view later, or something. For those of you who liked Dean but the comments you heard turned you off....please watch it! It's not as it was reported by many here. It's a WONDERFUL SPEECH! I'm a Dean/Kucinich supporter, btw. But was expecting the worst and found the best!

3. Your Welcome! I fretted all last night and all today about that speech...

tried to download it from Yahoo and CNN. Real Audio wanted me to pay for some damned upgrade. The C-Span link was the only one that worked.

I'm glad I made the effort! I was really "down in the dumps" thinking Dean had imploded and was some kind of psycho case (according to several DU posters) and I refused to turn my TV on to hear any post mortems by the Media Whores. It was like being totally alone in my world with information I had trouble accepting.

I think there might be others here on DU who are silent because they didn't watch any TV Coverage and depend on DU for the "TRUTH."

Well, last night the "TRUTH" was not always visible here. And, now we must be as careful of our fellow DU'ers and what they say as we are about our media. But, thankfully C-Span came through.

9. Thanks! I was curious to hear this and suspected

the media was spouting its usual baloney. I heard the tail end of some report on NPR and it said his voice went into a "scream." That word makes it sound like he is some kind of hysteric. MEANWHILE, it was a perfectly normal, good speech and he was smiling and joking around!

If people get fooled by the media this time about the Democratic candidates, they are just asking for it, I guess. I think enough people are going to get wise to their BS, though.
