3. wow, at those rates we could start a movement
And friends, somewhere in Washington enshrined in some little folder, is a
study in black and white of my fingerprints. And the only reason I'm
singing you this song now is cause you may know somebody in a similar
situation, or you may be in a similar situation, and if your in a
situation like that there's only one thing you can do and that's walk into
the shrink wherever you are ,just walk in say "Shrink, You can get
anything you want, at Alice's restaurant.". And walk out. You know, if
one person, just one person does it they may think he's really sick and
they won't take him. And if two people, two people do it, in harmony,
they may think they're both faggots and they won't take either of them.
And three people do it, three, can you imagine, three people walking in
singin a bar of Alice's Restaurant and walking out. They may think it's an
organization. And can you, can you imagine fifty people a day,I said
fifty people a day walking in singin a bar of Alice's Restaurant and
walking out. And friends they may thinks it's a movement.

And that's what it is , the Alice's Restaurant Anti-Massacre Movement,

We could have soo much fun with this. We all decide on a message and everyone donates a few bucks. I love it. Do you want to push it? I am willing to donate my very rare free time to this!

If this is more than a reason to post, in other words, if you are serious, pm me. I really think we could stir it up with this.

6. A group based in Ann Arbor, Michigan
had billboards to get their message out last year for a couple of months. The billboards were visible from busy freeways.

8. I got some details about the above Ann Arbor billboards
The director of the group that put up the billboards gave me the following details. She said:

"-it cost us nearly $10,000 between production costs and billboard rental for the 2 boards for a month."

"-I just heard that the "War is not working" billboard is still up on US 23! This must be because the billboard company hasn't rented it yet. Anyway, that's 2 free months of advertising for us."

"-people should check out their billboard companies before buying. After our billboards went up, we learned that the president of the company, Adams Outdoor, donated dozens of free billboards to the Bush campaign with slogans such as "Remember. It's Your Money." and "One nation under God"... "vote Bush/Cheney." They did this throughout Michigan, Pennsylvania, and one other state (I can't remember which). I'd be hard pressed to advertise with them again."

I thank her for this info.

10. And in less populous, but more important, areas
like WV, OH, IA, and WI--they go for less than 1500 bucks a month on major highways.

11. Right - some very affordable options out there
I encourage everyone to set aside a few hundred dollars, or get together with some friendds, and start billboard blogging.
