Bush is apologizing to Osama bin LADEN? |
|
Apologize to the Iraqis, yeah. But Osama? For saying he was going to get him "dead or alive?"
That's just stupid.

for, but that's not one of them.
I wonder if he's deliberately distorting the message of those who were against the Iraq war.
Either that, or he's just playing down his importance again because he knows he'll never catch him.

5. He should apologize for what he has done to this country and its |
|
reputation all over the globe.
-For what he has allowed to happen to civil liberties.
-For what he has allowed to happen to the EPA and the Interior Department.
-For what he plans to do in Alaska.
-For Antonio Gonzales and our new "Christian" definitions of torture.
-For causing so many of us to no longer trust our own electoral processes.
I'll stop--this is a never-ending list.

6. no, not to Bin Laden. He's sorry he said "dead or alive" |
|
and he feels embarrassed because he can't find a 7 foot tall Arab carrying a dialysis machine through the hills of Afghanistan.

7. Yup, he's saying "sorry Osama, what I meant to say wasn't that we'll |
|
get you dead or alive, but that we'll let you off scott free."

9. There was a guy talking to Bernie Ward who had a great analogy, |
|
I thought.
He said that with the inauguration coming up, the Bush administration apologizing for all these things right now is like a baseball player sliding into second and barely making it- and then calling a time out to stand up and dust himself off, walk around.
They think they're vulnerable at the inauguration, so they're calling a time out.
