Ever have the urge to take a long, overseas vacation?

Bush's horrible policies, lies, fascism and his systematic erosion of Democracy have left me feeling like I need to get far away.

I sometimes feel like I need an extended vacation out of the country.

Does the Bush regime ever make you feel like you want to get out of the US for a while?

1. foreign travel is great

I recommend Brazil, but learn some Portuguese first.
I won't let the Republicans drive me from my country, ever. If you are able, however, you should definitely take the time to do some extensive traveling abroad (if you have not done so already). You will learn a great deal.

Mostly for personal reasons though, I need to vagabond/nomad for at least a few years.

A general "Traveling" Group here at DU would be good, especially for discussing and exchanging ideas on how one might do it as cheaply as possible.

3. I Actually Have The Urge

to go on long vacations out of the country for many reasons. :9 Go see my long lost Irish relatives, learn about ancient Rome, flee from the current politics in our country. Its all good for me. But I will ALWAYS come home. I won't leave because of one President....he doesn't have that much control over me. LOL!
