Rahm Emmanuel on MTP today , speaking on "Eye-rack":

Did I understand this correctly? ( I was distracted intermittently by domestic stuff).

Here's what I think he said: If he had the chance to vote on the Eye-rack war resolution again, he would vote "yea"... even if he were aware that Eye-rack had no WMDs. Did I get that right?

If so, this can-NOT be a good sign of where the party is going. I think the time is passed where " the way" the administration is conducting the war is the issue, at least for most dem rank and files.

I , for one, want the war ENDED. Not pursued more efficiently.

The rush to "moderate" following the Nov elections is very dangerous. Kerry pulled just under half of the vote nationally. Virtually ALL of the left of center vote. This group will look elsewhere if the nat'l party advocates positions it finds repulsive.

Pursuing this war is one such position.

1. The only disagreement the Dem Party has with this war is that we are not
KILLING THEM CORRECTLY!

That's it in a nutshell.

Not that this illegal, immoral war is totally wrong from the get-go and bunkerboy and his gang of criminals are equivalent to Mousillini, no - we're just DOING IT WRONG! WE JUST NEED TO BE KILLING THEM BETTER!

What the Italians did to Mousillini was the right thing for their condition.

God I HATE these people for what they DO!

Why can't we learn from History?

2. Rahm Emanuel is mealy mouthed on Eye Rack
Another mealy mouthed Dem.

We need Wesley Clark up there with his unequivocal position on
Iraq:

"It was the WRONG war at the WRONG time in the WRONG place."

or

"Our military has performed brilliantly but the original concept of
the war was wrong"

I encourage everyone to write Nancy Pelosi and Rahm Emanuel and let them know in no uncertain terms that he is not representing us.

3. Seems they learned nothing from the past election, a moron still
in the WH because of enabler Dems who still think they can STILL straddle the fence, not being concise trying to have a foot in both worlds, better know the damn fence belongs to the repubs and work to pull it down or they will continue to get more of the same. To repeat what has been beat into the ground, "between the real thing and a copy people will go for the real thing every time".
