File an FCC complaint against Williams and the * administration
From America Blog:

FCC Action Alert!!!

Send an email to fccinfo@fcc.gov and demand that they launch an immiediate investigation to determine if any laws were broken Armstrong Williams failed to disclose that the Bush administration paid him $240,000 to plug its education policies.

To date, the FCC says it's only had 12 complaints. Let's change that. :-)

1. Good luck.
The FCC is run, like everything else in Washington, by Bush Administration lackeys.

3. I think that FCC total tally is rigged not to move ....
I know of more than 12 who submitted their complaints two days ago. Even if Powell's kid runs the joint, we should bombard them.....I complained about the Rendon Group, Bush's Iraq PR firm, too.

4. I think your are correct
A number of years ago I filed (or was trying to file) a complaint with the FCC about a neighbor that was tapping into my phone at home. It was a sick situation (some overnight "minister" that was a conducting all sorts of illegal activities I believed - among them being tapping the phones in the building!).

The FCC treated me like I was crazy and they wouldn't do a thing about this guy despite all of the evidence and all of the wires he had on top of the building I lived in.

So much for the FCC ... they have their own "agenda". :(

:kick:

6. The article was written more than two days ago
Anyone who sent a complaint two days ago wasn't included in that dozen, since it was a quote from Thursday.

5. Sent this letter
Please launch an immediate objective investigation of government payments and gifts to the media to advertise for the President's re-election and policies. It is clear that the education dept. paid Armstrong Williams not just to promote the Presidents policy of "no child left behind" but to use his show to campaing for the President's re-election by promoting how well the plan supposedly worked. Tax dollars were used to buy Armstrong Williams. The campaign was also fraudulent as Williams never made public that his show was an infomercial and paid advertisement for the Bush Administration rather than his own opinion.

It is also highly unlikely that Armstrong Williams and the Education Dept. are the only ones involved in media payoffs, also known as bribes, whether there are written contracts involved or undocumented gifts.

Public media should not be used as a vehicle for any administration to mislead the American public. Tax dollars should not be spent to publically mislead the American public. Media and governments must be held accountable. Please do your job for the American people and investigate the extent of this fraudulent and illegal practice.

9. done. We need to know if this was an isolated case or
standard practice! Is Armstrong Williams re-paying the $ 240,000?
