Who will Dean supporters support as their 2nd choice?
If it becomes apparent that Dean will be unable to capture the nomination (loses NH etc), is there a consensus #2 guy for the Dean supporters? Is it Edwards? Kerry? Clark? Which candidate could pick up the most support from the Dean supporters?

1. Edwards, probably
Kerry lost my interest with the constant attacks and dirty politics he's used so far this year. Clark never had my vote because I simply can't trust him.

4. Edwards for me too.
I was torn between Dean and Edwards at first. Edwards has done the best in the debates I have seen.

I'm struggling with whether to make the switch now or wait through NH.

6. This was just done yesterday but
Unless Dean drops out ( and I am convinced he won't but will win the nomination ) I really have no second choice.

IF that were to happen ( illness perhaps ) - with what I feel now about the candidates - Edwards would probably be my very unenthusiastic second choice.

That could change.

What won't change is my last place - General Clark. I'll support Joe before Clark.

7. I will vote for Dean unless he drops out.
It is certainly possible that no candidate will get a majority of the delegates. If this is the case, I will go for Dean, even if he is not the front-runner.

If he drops out, I can't even imagine who I would vote for. I haven't given it consideration. Perhaps Kucinich...

14. Hey, Dean has a LOT of money. A LOT.
you think if he comes in 2nd in NH he's giving up? Did you not see that speech he gave?

I'm more concerned at this juncture with General Clark finishing better than 3rd or 4th in NH.

17. Anyone
Of course, I'll support whoever the Democratic nominee is without any qualms whatsoever. Even my "least favorite" candidates (neither in serious contention) I would be more than happy to back.

Choosing between Kerry and Edwards - it's really a tossup. Both have very solid points in their favor, as well as quite superficial things that prevent me from supporting them just now. I'd probably go with Kerry if I had to make a choice tonight.

19. It won't be Kerry!
It will be one that did not vote for IWR. I am prepared to take a risky chance on Wes Clark, provided he explains his support for SOA.

Clark is my second choice, followed by Edwards.
