Anyone got information on Donnie Fowler?
Also, Wellington Webb - so far - looks more liberal than the other candiates. Everyone keeps reminding me that we have to protect the environment above all else till Bush is out and he's got the best environmental record and he's anti-war.

I don't know much about Donnie Fowler. I know a lot of people are backing him.

1. Fowler
www.changetheparty.com
He was the head of the Michign Kerry campaign. I spoke with him and like him a lot for the DNC job.
Our county chair is going to DC to work with Fowler on this project

2. I only know about him what I saw myself in FL
and I liked him. Quite a bit. I think he's got a real future in the party. And IMO he said all the right things (IIRC).

But he doesn't hold a candle to Dean.

3. His dad was a former DNC chair.
He's valuable for "getting $". One of his fund-raisers, Rosen, was the guy who recently got indicted for illegal campaign accounting for Hillary.

There is some information about him on changeforamerica.com (Trippi's site), along with Simon Rosenberg.

4. I was not at all impressed
Fowler couldn't handle a state-wide effort, the idea of him in charge of something national is frightening:

5. He ran the Michigan campaign
and last I saw , Michigan was Blue.
Sorry about your disappointment in the Coordinated Campaign but it's a tug of war between the locals and the state.
We were lucky. When we got people from Detroit that we didn't like, we sent 'em away. Up north maybe

6. It was the "little people" who turned it blue

in spite of things like Fowler's "Coordinated Campaign".

Read the link I posted. You will see the incompetence I encountered went way up the line.

Julie

On edit: Past performance aside, I shudder to think of Fowler and his too-cute-by-half routine on national TV getting chewed up and spit out by some Rethug. You actually think this boy can hold his own in full court press? I'd have to question the judgement of anyone who believed such after serious consideration.
