Enough about Dean's speach and his anger
Here are some things I have seen written

"He could be narrow, clannish, short-tempered, stubborn to a fault"

"He was not without flaw. He could be intemperate, profane, touchy, too quick with simplistic answers."

"He denounced...Congress as a "do-nothing" body dominated by men with "a dangerous lust for power and privilege."

The result of a Newsweek poll of fifty top political commentators nationwide who were asked to predict the outcome was 50 against him, zero for him.

No these were not said about Howard Dean. These were said about Harry Truman.

A gruff, short tempered man that turned out to be a great President.

By the way here is the full text about the newsweek article
"A few words about the '48 campaign, which will always be part of our political lore. It's a great American metaphor, a great American story. The fellow who hasn't got a chance comes from behind and wins. Nobody in either party, not a professional politician, not a reporter, not even his own mother-in-law doubted that Tom Dewey would be the next president. The result of a Newsweek poll of fifty top political commentators nationwide who were asked to predict the outcome was Dewey 50, Truman 0."

It's not over till it's over!!!!!

1. If you are not angry, you are not paying attention
Unfortunately, far too many people in this country do not pay attention (present company excluded of course).

2. The biggest difference is that Dean's victory will be a bit, um...
bigger, shall we say?

3. You betcha.
The more I hear how awful he is, the more interested I get.

And anyone who isn't angry about what's going on in this nation is in for a very rude shock.

SOMEBODY has to tell the truth and take the stoning.
