Who has made things worse for American POWs?

1) The man who bravely served his country with honor, and then protested against the war, which possibly contributed to ending it sooner, which got the POWs sent home.

2) The man who tortured Iraqi prisoners, thereby sending the message that we can't claim the moral high ground should our enemies decide to do the same thngs to us.

Also:

1) The man who bravely served his country with honor, and then followed his conscience to protest against an unjust war.

2) The man who committed torture and abandoned his conscience to follow the orders of an unjust president.
