My "rock-solid" Repub brother very impressed by Kerry and Clark |

My brother called me last night talking about how "impressed" he is by Kerry and said that Kerry "would beat Bush so bad in a debate that it wouldn't even be funny." He has also said this about Clark in the past.
He still claims he couldn't bring himself to vote for a Dem "unless he was convinced that Bush is really the screw-up that I've been telling him he is." I'm going to have to start sending him some articles pointing this out.
These are the FIRST Democrats he's ever said anything good about. I'm feeling proud to be a Democrat....

1. Hah...More men will come around once the contrasts are drawn. |

Who are you gonna say you relate to. Men like Clark and Kerry backed by fire fighters and veterans, or Bush backed by corporations and moneygrubbing preachers?

2. one thing to consider, though |

Your brother is at least the sort of person who was watching the news last night.
My concern is about the morans who don't pay attention to anything, and will vote based on their stereotypes of "what Republicans are like" versus "what Democrats are like."
There *is* some hope though. Good to hear.
