Wasn't this supposed to be Kerry's future?
Americans hopeful on Bush's 2nd term
The Associated Press
Updated: 10:29 a.m. ET Jan. 17, 2005
WASHINGTON - A majority of Americans say they feel hopeful about President Bush’s second term, but those hopes are clouded by doubts about when the bloodshed in Iraq will end.

Isn't that the wrong presidential candidate? I thought Kerry was the Hope candidate?

Just how stupid is America?

1. How many people you know that voted for Bush?

I know quite a few people that voted for Bush four years ago but voted for Kerry in 2004. Were their votes counted? I don't think so!

2. It's not hope. It's whistling in the dark.
Most Bush voters can't stand, emotionally or intellectually, that the greatest hope of freedom and prosperity, the U.S., has fallen under control of a craven, stupid, selfish, little dictator and a cadre of corporate and reactionary traitors.

Failing to come to grips with reality isn't hope. It is delusion, as an ostrich buries its head.

3. Pretty stupid.
This quote from GWB is the "global test" that John Kerry got slammed for by the Bush neocons during the campaign. When Kerry suggested we explain our rationale, he was a left wing liberal, sucking up to the 'ferners'. Bush can say it after completely destroying our image abroad, and he gets a pass. It's all a matter of who controls the media. And it aint us.

http://www.cnn.com/2005/ALLPOLITICS/01/16/bush.iraq/index.html

The president acknowledged that the reputation of the United States has diminished in some parts of the world and that his administration must "continue to do a better job" of explaining the rationale behind its actions.

"Some of the decisions I've made up to now have affected our standing in parts of the world," he said...

Hmmm... Ya think?
