Write Dianne Feinstein and tell her how disappointed you are in her
for supporting Rice and standing by her side. I would tell her the only way she will regain your support is by voting against Rice. You all in California need to nominate a different Democrat next time around. She needs to go. Next to Boxer, Feinstein is invisible and has shown she has little character. Dianne who?

2. I'm going to do that tomorrow
I'm sick of her. She does not represent California. This state went for Kerry by more than 1.2 million votes. She needs to stop kissing Bush's ass.

4. I'm here in CA - but Boxer is my senator
Feinstein is a kool-aid drinking tool to my reckoning.

Perhaps we should be working on finding Feinsteins 06 replacement.

8. Since she's so financially invested in this war
why didn't she recuse herself from the committee?

(i missed her on the telly today--but if she was gushing over rice that wasn't very nice)

9. Read this - see if you can tell whether she's a Republican or Democrat
Edited on Wed Jan-19-05 03:29 AM by ClarkUSA
"As both the chairman and the ranking member have so well stated, American foreign policy today is at a crossroads. In Iraq, across the Middle East, in North Korea, in our relations with China and in so many other places we face major challenges. I would submit that Dr. Rice has the skill, the judgment and the poise and the leadership to lead in these difficult times. If confirmed, she will have the deep personal trust and confidence of the president, a real asset. She's been by his side for every crucial national security decision in the last four years. My sense is that the president trusts her implicitly. When Dr. Rice meets with Hu Jintao or Ariel Sharon or Vladimir Putin, there will be no doubt that she speaks for and on behalf of the president of the United States. The problems we face abroad are complex and sizable. If Dr. Rice's past performance is any indication, though, we can rest easy. It's difficult to know ahead of time how anyone will perform as
secretary of state. Time and events test vision, facile thinking and resolute problem solving. But indeed, this is a remarkable woman that I introduce to you today, and it is with great pride that I do so."

- Sen. Diane Feinstein, D-Calif., introducing Rice.

10. Wouldn't even bother. Feinstein is a Repug 'robot'.
Her email response to me re: "Challenging the Vote" was truly "double-speak"...totally avoiding taking any current action at all...while trying to convince me how much had already by done in HAVA. And how I should be happy with that. The email was chilling.

So thanks, but I think NOT.

She and Boxer ARE as different as day and night.

13. 'Wrote to Senator Feinstein on all 3 email accounts to say --
-- how disheartening it is to see a Democratic senator speaking in praise of a SOS nominee whose stint at NSC was questionable at best.
