"Refrain from impugning my integrity"? Is this beyotch for real?
Is establishing Rice's integrity (or lack there of) the WHOLE PURPOSE of this exercises? I mean damn! You just know she was thinking "wait til I get back and tell big daddy how you treated me." You can see it on her smug face.

She needs to go lay down somewhere ... and learn to apply her lipstick in such a way that it doesn't make those watching her talk want to puke. Between that and the "never moving, never changing hair don't" I don't know which is more reflex provoking.

Just had to get that off my chest.

1. That 'impugning my integrity' comment was reminiscent of
Clarence Thomas screaming about a 'high tech lynching.'

Those BushBots got their talking points down, don't they?

2. What integrity?
She said she had respect for the truth. If that is so, her respect for lies far outweighs her respect for truth.

6. Exactly! It's like Gonzales saying he would never violate the Geneva
Conventions when he wrote a memo to Bush saying they should violate them.

Or the presidential spokesman saying that the president is committed to independent journalism when they paid Armstrong Williams a quarter-mil to shill for them.

Or calling complaints about tax breaks for the rich, "class war."

"Don't look at what we DO, listen to what we SAY."

4. The hair..must control the hair...
must never let a wave or a curl or a kink intrude upon the coiffed, sprayed, straightened, wasp-wannabe helmet of hair.

13. WASP Wannabe?
I just implied the same thing in another post and got flamed for it.

She IS though, what struggle has she ever known? What suffering has she endured that would prompt humility and reflection and a sense of racial inequality?

Compare her to Powell, who is head and shoulders more human. He may tow the party line and enable * to get away with bloody murder, but anyone can see he didn't like doing it and since he is leaving, he obviously had enough. Unlike Rice who was an instigator in this whole bloody mess we're in.

How can anyone impugn the integrity of someone that is a pathological liar?

12. I think of Nixon's 'I am not a crook' defense.
Rice is more fluid and elegant than Nixon, but every bit as deceitful.

15. A commuter observation
The comments being made by some of my fellow commuters this morning was the Rice clearly came off better in the exchange and that Boxer was perceived as embittered at best. I presume that most if not all of that came from watching the news and not the whole broadcast.

Not saying I agree with it, but that was certainly the buzz this AM
