1. Cafferty is smart but reactionary.
Senator Boxer has the high ground in her challenge to Dr. Rice.

Dr. Rice's deceits, and there are many of them, are matters of public record, not the opinion of a liberal Jewish woman senator from California.

Shame on Cafferty and shame on CNN for giving his bigotries a national stage.

2. I sent in an email. Gary from Houston won't be able to see if it's read on
air or not. I said something to the effect. Thank the lord someone is willing to challenge the Bush administration and Dr. Rice in particular on the statements made pre-the-Iraq War. God knows media types like you Jack, never did. You can redeem yourself now by asking which statements Dr. Rice made prior to the war in Iraq were actually true? Was Senator Boxer pointing out lying or incompetence.

5. typical Cafferty
Our question today is, "Wasn't Boxer a complete bitch to our beloved and angelic Condi Rice, and if you think otherwise you must be a bitch or bastard yourself.... e-mail your agreement to my proclamation at AM@CNN.com."

7. My comment
Senator Boxer did what the rest on that panel should have been doing. Asking questions about the lies and inconsistencies Dr. Rice told before the Iraq war run up and those told after. Actually, these are the questions that journalists should have been asking and haven't. I appreciate someone having the willingness to ask the tough questions no one else is asking. I think Senator Boxer is a true patriot and others could take a lesson from her.

10. Just because
Boxer was doing the job that should have been done by journalists, doesn't mean you should start attacking her for exposing your lack of journalistic hard work. I love our media.

I love how they turn the attention on Boxer, and not to what Rice said. Oh, they're very good at that. Anyone steps out of line against the administration and the establishment, the mainstream media is right there to make sure they don't do it again. Mmmmmmm, yeah. This country didn't fight against that in the 20th century. Nope, we fought against that so that we could do it. Funny how that works.

Oh yeah, I do love the corporate media. Thankfully it's there to protect us from getting any information. And thankfully it's there to protect power.

12. Maybe they can feel shame
this is what I sent:

IF Dr. Rice feels that Senator Boxer's questioning is too harsh, perhaps she should fact check her talking points. Even my teenagers know that when caught in a lie it is best to admit it rather than continue to defend the lie, it only makes the punishment worse. Mr. Cafferty, are lies still called lies in your home, or are they now called "misstatements"?

16. Here was my response:
Boxer was absolutely not out of line. In fact, her comments were entirely appropriate and needed. This administration has massive credibility problems, and she was holding them accountable. Are you just jealous because she's doing your job for you?
