FAUX & CNN are showing the hearings, Boxer just handed Condi her lies |
|
and her zeal for the war. Bringing up no Saddam/OBL link, No nuclear progress or reconsitution, Rummy meeting with Saddam and keeping him off the Terrorist lists while he was gassing Iran.
Holy Shit! I was watching on CSPAN, just flipped over to CNN to see what they were yacking about and they had the hearings. Had to flip to FAUX News and they had it too.
Freepers and dittoheads are actually getting to hear some truth for once!!!

|

2. Not yet, they are just showing the hearing, no commentary so far |
|
They are probably still in the back room trying to figure out how to spin it.
Aluminum tubes Milosivich vs Saddam - hundred's of 1,000s killed by Milosivich, he was nabbed and out of action with NO US troops killed.
Was Saddam worth 1 US life? NO, he was the bottom of the barrel.

and Bosnia's Izetbegovic presided over many of those thousands as well as the 3-way civil war unfolded after the secession and breakup of the Yugoslav republics.
Demonization of foreign individuals so that our government can pursue global corporate agendas (pipeline routes in the case of the Balkans) never works with me, be it a wannabe Tito as was the case with Milosevic (we never had a problem with Tito, as I recall, since he kept the Union of Southern Slavs from breaking up and distanced himself from Moscow) or a wannabe Nassar in the case of Saddam.
There is still way too much interventionist sentiment in the Democratic Party. Maybe after they roll over for a few more Bushco wars and we really are out of soldiers, even 50-year-old reservists, and the draft is all that's left to them, then maybe, just maybe they will realize that there is no way the U.S. can fight a "good" war in an era when civilians are invariably wiped out in far greater numbers than combatants, no matter how well-intentioned the trigger-pullers of the war are.

At the time, even with the drums banging 24/7 and the lies, Americans still expressed a desire for an international effort and UN inspections to continue, so how can Rice claim the Saddam wasn't complying when the inspections weren't allowed to continue?
Because it would expose the fraud.
