As a behind-the-scenes print journalist (no contact with public), I'll be in all black, as I was on Nov. 3. A lawyer friend tells me that, here in a state with an employment-at-will law, I risk being fired for making a "political statement."

To which I say: "Bring it on." Fired for wearing black is a test case I'd love to see.

I am the sole liberal at my office, and we're having a managers meeting, with employees from all over. Everyone knows I'm political and which way I lean.

In fact, I used "voting buttons" in my RSVP e-mail for the meeting, and many non-computer types thought it was a political smart aleck joke, not realizing they were real.
