Concentration of wealth in US at an unspoken crisis point, yet |
|
mainstream media will not touch this...in fact this is now the Third Rail of American politics. "Wealth and Democracy" by Kevin Phillips, "Top Heavy" by Edward Wolff, and "Perfectly Legal: The Covert Campaign to Rig Our Tax System to Benefit the Super Rich - and Cheat Everybody Else" by David Cay Johnston, all point this out but to no avail.
The MSM have much to answer for but have insulated themselves from the huddled masses. There is no 'noblesse oblige' anymore, just unadulterated greed and the media is part and parcel to it.
How can they even report the news without bias of the almighty dollar ?

It could be the fact that next to none of them understand what the phrase means. God forbid I doubt journalistic intelligence, but I've seen too many examples of its lack over the last few years.

2. MSM is inside the bubble now. They can't hear you |
|
MSM is no longer reporting the news because they are no longer connected to the befuddled masses. That will be their undoing.
It reminds me of the quote:
Look. . . the people you are after are the people you depend on. We cook your meals, we haul your trash, we connect your calls, we drive your ambulances, we guard you while you sleep. Do not fu** with us.

on TV?
OR A LESS THAN MASSIVE CHIN? Or a less than perfect nose (don't people break noses in sports anymore?)
or a face that was not an exact mirror image, left side and right side?????? :-)
Brains and ability with words (these can be done by staff),
or ability with logic (if you are better off going along with whatever an editor wants - or an owner wants - why think?),
or even a curious bone in your body (why do you want to do a story that nobody wants to see/read and which will never have legs)
are all things that get in the way of a sucessful career in the media.

4. one really smart pretty face (and bod) Flavia Colgan might be able to |
|
break into this MSM lock-out on topic. She has possible access to Scarborough Country and Joe lets her on, if only to try to shout her down.
I'd even let a homely face argue this point but, my God, what is the MSM so afraid of in merely bringing this up for discussion ?
