1. Biden must be smart, but he acts like a lunatic sometimes
I wouldn't let him babysit my children.

2. No. Biden got in the shot heard round the world today and it set a tone.

Republicans SHOULD be mocked PUBLICLY, just like Atrios is saying.

DC changed when Biden said to Rice, "For God's sake, don't listen to Rumsfeld, he doesn't know what he's talking about."

You'll see.

7. Yep
On NPR, the coverage of the hearing was pretty much all the questions Biden put up about Iraqi troop strength, and how Rice was inflating it.

Maybe he knows what he's doing, hmmm?

3. Today 1/19/05
Joe Biden told the WORLD that Bush is a fuckup and WE know it; Rice is a liar and WE and the PRES. knows it and condones it, her being his closest confidant; that any designs on Iran are insane, etc., etc.

What did you do today?

6. I posted this a couple of days ago.
Biden was a sneering, mocking bully when Anita Hill was testifying. How many people here, on DU, saw that? I did.

It wasn't pretty. Not only Biden but all the senators at the
Thomas hearing humiliated Anita Hill and might as well have called her a liar.

I have a long memory and maybe that's not a good thing. I don't know. But I don't think a leopard changes it's spots and it's bite is just as lethal now as it was then.

12. He's not conflicted, he's a lifer, that's all
...I'd like to see some other dems run against the status quo in the Senate. If we don't get some new blood flowing, they just act like blowhards on the Senate floor and go out to dinner with the opposing team afterwards. Sorry to be so cynical, but these guys have no real philosophy...it's a job and a game to them.

He can talk all he wants. Look at the vote.

Actions speak louder than words. His "bar is lower." Well, mine just got higher.
