3. I really don't think he'd mourn the passing of the Constitution. |
|
Tomorrow we find out how he REALLY feels about its passing...

4. Died, 2005, Democracy. |
|
Edited on Wed Jan-19-05 10:13 PM by Clark2008
Born in 1776, Democracy led a long and fruitful life in the United States of America until it was seized, in 2000, with an infection so evil and malignant, that it could no longer stand. By 2004, Democracy had finally weakened to the point where it was gasping for its last breath on Nov. 2, as mostly minority citizens waited in lines for hours hoping their courageous actions would help to revive their beloved friend and mentor. Drs. Mitofsy and Zogby thought Democracy might make a last, miraculous effort over the course of its final day, but in the waning hours of the evening, massive machine failure caused Democracy to succumb to the mystery illness, now known as electionfixatitus. During its lifetime, Democracy was heralded for its efforts in freeing America from Great Britian's tyrannical religious cult and for helping minorities and women gain voting rights. Democracy had some bumpy times during the American Civil War, the Civil Rights movement and Vietnam, but always rallied to overcome its trials and tribulations. Democracy will be buried on Jan. 20, 2005 during a ceremony on a platform near the White House. Democracy's best friend, the Constitution, will not be able to attend the funeral as it is also suffering from an almost certain fatal wound which shred its bowels. Law enforcement officials believe the wound was inflicted by the ruthless dictators, Ima "Patriot" Act and her brother, Abu Gharib. Act burst on the scene in 2001 after the horrific 9/11 tragedy and took over a mesmorized U.S. Congress. Her brother followed Act into battle two years later after a long exile in Geneva.

One of the first things you do in J-School is learn how to write obituaries. After four years of school, 12 years of reporting and another three in PR, I'd hope I'd be good at this sort of thing now. :)

12. Clark2008, please do me a favor.. |
|
if you have time.
I received a nasty email from a columnist at the NY Daily News and I am trying to write a good response without letting my emotions betray my intelligence.
It is at the editorial forum: entitled "NY Daily News columnist sends me nasty email. Help me respond."

I can use all the help I can get. I refuse to let this guy off the hook for telling so many lies.

11. And I thought he might have actually gone to a soldier's funeral. Hah! |
|
I should have known before clicking on the thread that he wasn't visiting a soldier's funeral.
