Could it be she did warn Bush of Osama prior to 9/11?

That she pleaded with him to warn the American People?

The Airports, the FBI, etc?

and her words fell on DEAF EARS?

And this is why she gets the plums and not the lemons?

1. Two words:
(NOT intended to be racist)

1) Black

2) Female

It's exactly what the Repubs need to feel good about themselves.

2. Cause she is slippery as a fish
She is like Cheney. Her massive attitude fools people into thinking she must be right.

3. Since when did Bush care about competence?

It's all about blind loyalty.

10. I think he sees her as competent
and that is what is so disturbing. I would have preferred a less rightwing African American woman as Secretary of State. Her inability to have any concerns about being wrong is what is so bothersome. Of course, many previous NSAs/Secretarys were blindly arrogant- think Henry Kissinger.

13. True, she is competent ONLY in terms of implementing Bush's ideology
That really is the most disturbing thing about Bush. He really believes that what he is doing is the right thing to do and is finding people to fulfill his screwed up vision.

12. SoS is slated for downsizing.
She'll be working out of Don Rumsfield's office for the next 4 years. The Bush administration doesn't do diplomacy...they do bombs.

(and doesn't have one). It's just in your face abuse.
And those who go along, are like abused spouses.

the more they love you.... not all voters but more than a few...

and thats all it took....
