Which of our enemies does the Bush administration most resemble? |
|
The Confederacy? - black disenfranchisement - opposed to affirmative action - divisive: blue/gray states, blue/red states
Hitler? - fatherland/homeland nationalism - Christian support for Fascism - military invasions based on lies - loyalty above all
The Soviet Union? - suppression of dissent - secret, top-down government - sham elections - quest for world domination - state-controlled media
al Qaeda? - underpinned by religious fundamentalism - desire for religious schools, no science - torture of prisoners - death squads to terrorize the populace

3. You should pose that question to die hard bush supporters. |
|
Might be fun to hear their responses.

5. I also forgot King George III & the Revolution |

Weren't the right-wingers of the day the Tories, who didn't even want America to be formed in the first place? And then in the Civil War, they wanted to split it apart.
Oh, and *liberals* hate America.

6. I have to vote for a combination of |
|
Hitler & Al Qaeda
Watching the broadcast of this farce taking place ( the inauguration--or anything else administrative, for that matter) I am reminded of the pictures & news reels of Hitler. The total shut-down of the media or ANY dissenting thought makes me quite nervous--I am beyond angry, now I am mostly scared.
People are no longer thinking rationally, they are supporting policies blindly that follow no line of logic, policies that can only lead to our own demise.
I realize that Hitler used religion, to a point, to begin to gather the sheep; say, a pre-Al Qaeda. Maybe that is where we are at now.
I will not be a 'good' German.
I will not wear a burka (sp)
I will not get in the boxcar.
I will not be silenced.

8. Well, considering the BCE created 2 of your options (Hitler/AlQaeda)... |
|
and the descendants of the confederates voted for the idiot, I guess a good case can be made for all of the above. Not sure exactly how the Commies fit in, but I wouldn't be surprised if Prescott and his banking partners had something to do with that one as well.

9. I pick 3 and 4. Remember, many of these folks started out as |
|
"anti-Communist", and when the Soviet Union disintegrated, they looked for another bogeyman. They found it in Muslims and the al Qaeda.
Why do I pick these 2? Because the Bush people are the evil they despise.
