I'm not positive, but there might be a couple of things in the ten commandments at odds with doing so

3. Who (besides you) said it was a "prayer"?
The issue with the "under god" phrase is that references to a deity are, by definition, supportive of a religious doctrine and, therefore, when mandated or encouraged by a government institution (such as a public school), is in violation of the first amendment to the constitution.
