It doesn't matter if Bush got the most votes or not.... |
|
He acted as if he had a mandate in 2000 - when he had a half-million less votes than AL Gore. It is not about popular vote. It is about the tyranny of a regime and the lies that are propagated and spread by the corporate media to support the regime. They would have supported it the same if he had gotten a million less votes this time than in 2000. They look to the election as validation but they did not need validation in 2000 and they did not need validation to lie and take us to war. It is a charade.

the mandate. He's got it, he had it then. Whether he can push his agenda depends solely of the Democratic senators and the sacred "filibuster".
Will they maintain the filibuster, knowing that if they ever manage to return to power, they cannot complain when it is used against them? Or will they maintain their integrity and take the hits that are sure to come?
