for covering the protests fairly extensively and reporting that they've been misdirected. It's not often that I see the MSM doing something well, and when they do I'm glad to take note of it.

are deliberately sending them to the wrong entrances to get in the designated protest area along the parade route.

with swat team members outside. Protesters are rattling the chain link. They want to be able to assemble on Freedom Plaza, but it's off limits. As Tavis Smiley just remarked, it's jarring to listen to the pres talk about expanding freedom around the world, and then see it so starkly being constricted here. Again, I'm impressed that I'm hearing/seeing this on ABC.

The police were just turning hoses on the protesters in the pen, which looked to have been breached, and then the police waded into the pen.

10. MSNBC also covered protesters ... |
|
Then there was talk that the protesters were focussed on Iraq when the Pres clearly had bigger things on his agenda as evidenced in his speech. Bringing freedom and democracy to the rest of the world. Which led into the fact that most people don't understand *'s vision and how he plans to win was on terror -- and that * needs to educate the people on his vision in order for them to get behind him.
In other words invade any country that doesn't have a democracy, occupy them, and install a new democratic government and once we the people understand that we'll cheer him on.
These people make me sick and their saccrine (sp) coverage is gonna make me puke so I'm changing the channel.
