Between bouts of puking during the innaugeration today, I could only wonder where it all went wrong. How the fuck did we get here? Why?
How could we have fallen (as a country) so far off the track?
Somehow, the movie "Ground Hog Day" passed through my mind. Bill Murray living the same day over and over until he got it right. I wished that all of a sudden it was 1993 again. That it was the Big Dog with his hand on the bible.
I wished we got a second chance, to do it right this time. Live from Jan. 20, 1993 to Jan. 20, 2000 until we get it right. If once again the Chimp places his hand on the bible, we reset to 1993 again.
