1. And yet they're still in power...
What's that tell you?

They own the media.

2. I don't think it was the blow job that caused the hate!
That was the one thing they managed to get to stick. They hated Clinton before he even left Arkansas, and tried everything they could think of to bring him down. They tried the gorlfriend scandal while he was still campaigning, but he won anyway. They tried Whitewater, but there wasn't anything there. They tried to slam him for the "Wag the Dog" idea on foreign policy. I'm not sure exactly why they hated him, other than he was a Dem.

I am a firm believer that you can take anyone down if you look hard enough. We could take shrub out in a heartbeat...if we had a Dem Congress & Senate.

This has been going on for YEARS! Remember, they tried to get Jimmy Carter on illegal operations involving his peanut farm. Carter just said...Go look. There was nothing there.

We're just dealing with a lot of vengeful pubs who will try to get anyone who is the opposition, bu whatever means available, including lies!

4. 3 things for scandal
According to John Dean:

1. The crime

2. The cover up

3. Outrage in the media

Waiting for number three will not prove fruitful.

I listened for a few minutes this morning, and watched the faces of the news readers; they are pleased with what they have done. I kept wandering what sort of comments they would making had Kerry won. We are in an un-fucking-believable mess. They simply turn every screw.

5. I agree, but it seems impossible without a whistleblower, or
one of the major media to use the talents of their investigative guys. Believe me, if I knew anything, I'd talk, and I know all here on DU would too. Why can't we find any of the people from his past? The guys he served with, the pregnant girl...Is it possible to pay them ALL OFF? I'm still hoping that CBS hasn't completely dropped the story. Back in the dark corners of the network, hopefully someone is digging into finding the real truth...with PROOF!

8. My Republican friends keep bringing...
that blowjob up over and over again, too...even to this day.

I consistently reply that I wish we still had the economy we had then, I wish we were still admired around the world like back then, I wish we still had a surplus like back then, I wish gas was still 99 cents a gallon like it was back then. And if having a fling in the Oval Office is what it takes, let's get Bush a lady...or even two!

9. I don't think it was simply hate.It's pre-planned hate that's their tactic
It doesn't matter who was in office...Clinton, Carter, or whoever. It also doesn't matter who ran for president on the Democratic side this time. Kerry just happened to be the guy who took the brunt of their pre-planned hatred. It's all choreographed by a well organized group of Repukian thugs and liars to smear WHOMEVER happens to be a threat to them. Somehow we have to find a way to make that shit stop. I'm sure they're already gearing up with their lies and pre-planned hatred for our next great Democratic hope as we speak, no matter who that may be.
