Some guy yelling "Fuck Bush" continuously. Finally, commentator says "We're having a little trouble hearing, there's a lot of noise here." Hey, I heard it just fine. I'm glad I taped the parade. I couldn't tell if anyone turned their backs though.

At one point the audio on the motorcade footage was out of phase, so it sounded all trippy and spooky... then they split screen with the protest area around ANSWER's bleachers... and it was really cool and ominous... They even got in a shot of spooky old Babs the Hater.

But I'd like to see the "fuck Bush**" video too. That's hysterical.

to see this clip! I hated missing good stuff like this, but there was no way I was going to watch non-stop coverage of Bush's extravaganza on Jan. 20th. For me, I chose to pretend it wasn't happening. It was just too painful for me, because it was supposed to be a much different day.

But as soon as I started watching, it was obvious that cheering crowds for his Imperial Chimpness was not going to happen. It was great - even the MSM couldn't cover it up. C-Span was really fun to watch with the split screen. I thought the "re-oathening" would be horrible to endure, but I found myself smiling and was more encouraged than I've been in a long time seeing the reaction.

I was watching when that happened here at work and a lady came in and asked what was going on. I said, “CNN just said someone threw some fruit at the car.”

She didn’t say anything, but a dude came in who is a righty jumped in and said, “Damn hippies…they are so violent.”

Well I keep my politics to myself with a few exceptions and then I responded:

“Tossing a piece of fruit isn’t violent. They shot Kennedy. Id rather have someone throw a piece of fruit at me than shoot me. Killing someone. Now that’s violent. And it wasn’t hippies that killed Kennedy.”
