We all have to do things we don't want to from time to time. Jenna is an adult, not a four year old. And this is a formal event. The least she could do is pull herself together and show a little class. How difficult would that be? She doesn't give a shit! Spoiled brat just like her dad!

Oh, and here's an anecdote that applies here. Saw a story on TV awhile ago about this woman who trains the young kids who participate in the chorus in various operas. Young kids - about 8 or 9, I guess. Showed one segment of them appearing in "Carmen".

This woman really rides these kids hard. Has high expectations. Reporter interviewed one boy who said their teacher didn't allow them to ever YAWN during rehearsal. Asked why, he said, "Because then we'll yawn onstage."

Good grief! If an 8 year old can be taught this.......

Liking them or not isn't really my issue. Actually I feel very sorry for them, and you won't catch me insulting them. I think they are fair game though..they are adults, they chose to enter the campaign. Their behavior is relevant because Bush&co put such a high premium on "morality"..at least as it applies to everyone else. Can you imagine if Chelsea Clinton had done any of the things the Bush twins have done? They would have been absolutely merciless...and everything "immoral" or unwise she had done would have been used as direct evidence of her parents' "immorality" and poor parenting. As it is the worst they could accuse Chelsea of was a certain amount of gawkiness, no great sin in anyone's book. The fact that Chelsea Clinton and the Kerry girls are intelligent, moral folks and the Bush girls are having such a difficult transition to adulthood is something that will never be mentioned by Bush&co...I think because it so clearly shows their own hypocrisy and lack of integrity.
