A Look at U.S. Military Deaths in Iraq

As of Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005, at least 1,368 members of the U.S. military have died since the beginning of the Iraq (news - web sites) war in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count. At least 1,073 died as a result of hostile action, the Defense Department said. The figures include three military civilians. the death toll is higher in that the 200 deaths in Afghanistan are not counted...nor are deaths of civilians.
It's going to be much worse before too long...:scared: :cry:

and I don't think we'll ever know how many civilians have been killed, or will be killed.
How could anybody rate this article down? Are these the same people with "support the troops" ribbons on their trucks? :mad:
