1. I also started off with Dean, but I was hoping that Wesley would run.
Once he started showing up on CNN, I was hoping he'd run even more!

and I'm glad you switched too.:toast:

I would venture to say just like you, there are very few today, that have switched and aren't glad they did.

And then there were none!

6. You don't need to respond
All it does is kick the thread up to the top.

5. Me, too
I liked Dean on paper but had a hard time "relating" to him once I started to hear him speak. I felt like I was being lectured to, which doesn't work well with me.

Although he did not end up being my first choice, I wanted him to be the best he could be, just in case he was the nominee. (Who knows that still could happen, though I do doubt it now.)

In any event, I am comfortable with Clark, Edwards and Kerry and any one of those will do well against Bush.

7. Ditto!
I do not fault those who continue to support Dean, but I feel I made the right choice in switching to Clark!

GO WES GO!

8. I switched too...even before Clark decided to run
But when Dean first announced he was...I jumped right on his band wagon. I loved his fiery rethoric...but after awhile I got a wee bit tired and wanted to hear more. Then Clark came in with all the answers and the gravitas to win.

PUKE...the president is speaking!

10. I started out as a Dean supporter
also, but I never felt really comfortable with him. He seemed to me like a weak candidate, but the strongest out of a field of very weak candidates. I started getting intrigued as I read more about the Draft Clark movement, and began to pray that he would enter, even though I wasn't sure that I would support him. I took a good long look at him, at the good, the bad, and the ugly (every bit of dirt that could be found on him was brought up on DU the 1st couple of weeks after he announced). I finally committed to him and my committment just keeps getting stronger.

I have also reassessed my opinion of Dean's strength as a candidate. He was my second choice for a long time, but now comes in 4th after Kerry and Edwards.

I'm glad that I never developed an emotional investment in his candidacy because it would have made the journey much more difficult.

I do have a strong emotional ivestment in Clark's candidacy, and I know that it will hurt like crazy if he doesn't get the nomination.

That's one reason that I will never gloat about another candidates misfortunes. I really feel for what some of the Dean supporters are going through right now. I know I may be feeling the same way myself soon.

11. me2
especially after the post caucus rallies last night.

I still can not get over what I heard and saw. I don't know whether to laugh or cry when I think about. I guess I can do both, because it was hilarious and pathetic at the same time.
