WASHINGTON, Jan. 20 /U.S. Newswire/ -- House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-Texas) today said the inauguration of President George W. Bush marks a continued era of strengthening America's security, prosperity, and families, as the president was sworn in to a historic second term.

"In the last four years, President Bush has successfully fought the War on Terror, strengthened the national economy, and protected America's families. The next four years will not be easy, but with the leadership of President Bush and the Republican Congress, we will work toward four more years of success," DeLay said. "Today I congratulate President Bush, Vice President Cheney, and their families for securing victory in the election and for the American people. It will be an honor to continue working with the Bush administration to keep the next four years full of hope and promise for America," DeLay said.

As House Majority Leader and a member of the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies, DeLay will escort the president and attend the swearing-in ceremony on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol. After the ceremony, DeLay will join the president, vice president, and House and Senate leaders for the traditional celebratory lunch in Statuary Hall.

2. We now know who Bush has his "mandate" with:
"DeLay will escort the president and attend the swearing-in ceremony on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol"

It's Tom Delay!!!

5. Only if DeLay is indicted and thrown out of the House
in disgrace.

THEN they'll be promise (and hope) for America.
