Why is PNAC and NeoCon starting to crop up in the media?
Edited on Fri Jan-21-05 04:30 PM by AndrewJacksonFaction
During the election season I hoped and prayed for these 2 little words to crop up in the discussion of who would be best for Pres..

Here we are more than 2 months out of the election and now I have heard the NeoCon/PNAC agenda talked about twice in the span of a week. First on Chris Matthews, then just now on "Inside Politics".

Is the media going to start digging into the relationship of this administration and the PNAC. God I really do hope so. This could be their undoing!!!

One can hope can't they?

Edit: To clarify PNAC= Project for the New American Century

3. They have nothing to fear any longer
The * is a lame duck. They will be trying to figure out who is the next big kahuna in the Repuke party. They don't know if the neo cons or the moderates are going to be the power brokers. That's why the Dems have got to get their act together sooner rather than later, we need for the press to fear that we might be the future power brokers.

4. The reason we're in Iraq

Make sure you read "Rebuilding America's Defenses". It's 90-some pages long, but it's worth a read if you like horror.

And I don't think they give a damn if anybody knows about them, or talks about them in the media. They're fairly open about what they want. They're on TV everyday as it is. They never come out and say PNAC, but Kristol and Krauthammer are on Fox 24/7. Woolsey finds his way onto every show. Gaffney and Adelman do the same. Then of course Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Feith, Cambone, etc, are all in the government and making plans for torture, perpetual war, and throwing people into a hole for life with no evidence.

13. Go to Project for a new American Century
They got us into Iraq i.e. from 1998 letter from PNAC asking for a war against
Saddam?

We urge you to act decisively. If you act now to end the threat of weapons of mass destruction against the U.S. or its allies, you will be acting in the most fundamental national security interests of the country. If we accept a course of weakness and drift, we put our interests and our future at risk.

Sound like bush 2001, 2002, 2003, & 2004?

14. PNAC is
made up of a group of Neocons who have some of the worse ideas on how to remake the world in the image of the Corporate United States of America.....and then run the world as US Colonies aka, an empire.

The middle East is first on their target so that they the US can have control over the oil. The control of oil will enable control over Saudi Arabia, China (who have very little oil) and Russia (who's in the oil business).

The ability to set oil prices is the prize. With that power, the Neocons would control the world's economy and any series of events that they might not otherwise control.

It's the classic "New World Order" ideology....selfish, dangerous and evil.

If you want to see hell on earth....let the neocons have control.

They have had power for the last four years, and you see what has happened to date. That's what made this past election the most important in American History. The problem though was that most Democrats, although aware of PNAC, were afraid to speak out publicly about this powerful group. They were more concerned about how they would be judged personally(conspiracy theorists) than understanding that speaking out might make the difference.

There is one man who has repeatedly spoken out about this group loudly and publicly. His name is General Wes Clark.

8. Cause Wes Clark
called PNAC, PNAC...and NEOCONS, NEOCONS many times during his Hardball and CNN appearances...and since the media doesn't do anything until they see others doing it...they decided, at this point, Why not?

Now we just need the media to start calling the Fundies, Right Wing Religious Zealots...

10. PNAC is in the news because the neocons won
Not just that Bush "won", but Powell is out while Rummy and Wolfowitz are in. Bush handed his Man Date over to the neocons and they are ready to run with it. Fasten your seatbelt.

The honeymoon is over, or at least hopefully it is. A lot of this may have to do with Condolieza being nominated for SoS.

18. PNAC PNAC PNAC
PNAC is the turning point for me. I have always been a dem, but after reading about PNAC it made me a fanatic anti-Bushie. I think all Americans should take the time to read the PNAC agenda. Any American with a spec of patriotism will find it appalling and will want to do whatever is necessary to stop it.

19. In 2003
here in Germany was a report in investigative magazin "Monitor"
which mentioned the PNAC and his plans, for example to occupate Irak and their need for a new pearl harbor, what we learned by Stinnet wasn't such a big surprise for US-government.

But never again this terrifying junta was mentioned.

20. If there was any doubt about whether Bush
is now a neocon, yesterdays speech erased it. The speech was basically a neocon wet dream. William Kristol was quoted in the Post, "This was a historic speech. The generality makes it more powerful, not less."

the article also said the speech will take concrete meaning only when paired with the State of the Union Address next month.
