U.S. OKs Expanded Oil Drilling in Alaska

WASHINGTON - Citing a need for domestic energy, the government plans to open for exploratory drilling thousands of acres on Alaska's North Slope that have been protected for decades because of migratory birds and caribou.

They are wasting no time. Of course, a better option would be to curb the need for oil, but... nah...

1. I think they're going after NPR-A because
ANWR is dead. The logic would be it's the National PETROLEUM Reserve, after all. Not saying that I agree, but.....
