Red State Rally gets National Attention
Wanted to let progressives in red States know that we CAN be heard! About seven of us (from several different progressive groups) planned and coordinated this event in Oklahoma. We were interviewed by NPR for their Friday Morning Edition show and by Laura Flanders for her live counter-inauguration coverage on Thursday. The links are below:

Laura Flanders Show the interview from our rally is at about 36:20 into the show.

NPR Morning Edition click "listen"; we're right after the Jazz Funeral for Democracy.

We also made the front page of our local newspaper as well as the front page of our university paper. At the height of our rally, around noon, we had approximately 100 people!

6. Glad to hear about other red state protests
I was at the Jazz Funeral for Democracy in New Orleans. We're a blue parish in a Red State.

We had more than 1500 who attended.

I believe that antiwar rallies were held in just about every state on January 20. The MSM coverage, or lack thereof, is another reason why the Left has been marginalized. We cannot get our message of peace and hope out to the rest of the apathetic country.
