What a wild night
I came home a little bit ago from an awesome meeting with Wes Clark, Jr. at Wayne State University in Detroit. The turnout was fantastic, all the more remarkable in that the meeting was put together with virtually no advance notice (couple days).

Wes Jr. -- what an eloquent, welcoming speaker. A chip off the block.

He fielded policy questions without hesitation. If he didn't know the answer, he told you so, straight up. He's a fabulous representative for the campaign.

When I got home I switched on the tv to see 43* giving the SOTU. I'm not a historian but IMHO this is the most partisan SOTU I've ever heard. I got so angry I couldn't sit still.

So I went to my computer, got out my Michigan Democratic Party ballot which I received today, got online and voted for Wesley K. Clark.

I feel a lot better.
