Novak, cnn just talked about the excessive secuity at the coronation. He
said that terrorism had won in this case.
Talked of finger pinting reporters and others (wonder if he attended?), Senators not able to freely move about--even after the President left the area.
um.... I was surprized to hear this coming from Robert Novak!

1. It wasn't terrorists they were defending against. It was the righteous
indignation of the majority in this nation. The junta and GOP congress slugs are prisoners in their high security enclaves. They act like victors, but they know a huge part of the population is dissenting. They have to hide and keep We The People out of camera range. If the folks watching at home had an inkling of just how many others are as mad as they are, there would be mayhem on Main Street USA.

6. It was written all over their faces on 1/20 wasn't it!
I almost laughed as I watched * sitting in the front seat of the limo- eyes straight ahead as he passed the massive throngs of protesters with the "Worst President Ever" signs. - With his order to "not look at the Preznit" running across my brain.

He looked utterly frightened and uncomfortable when he got out of the limo to walk, too.

2. Novak should be finger printed
and thrown in jail for leaking the identity of a CIA operative. It's the American people who need protection against the Bush adminstration!

3. It makes sense. The election is now officially over.
Now that Dubya has his next four years, there is no need for Republicans to rally behind his insanity. Before Nov 2, the only thing that mattered to them was that the team won; right and wrong was never even considered. Now they're looking towards the future, and they don't want baggage from a guy with a 43% approval rating the day of his inauguration (which has got to be some type of record) hurting their candidates in 2006 and 2008. Over the next four years we're probably going to see the GOP carefully distancing themselves from the neocon cabal in the White House.

10. Except The Cabal Is Running And Enforcing The Show
You cross The Cabal, you basically cross the party in Repunkville these days. Lose that and they lose everything - and I don't see them losing that quite yet.

If I'm wrong, then this entire edifice is a more fragile house of cards than I gave it credit for ... and would then be P.O.'ed at the DC Dems/Democratic Losers Committee all the more.

5. I don't care how much sense he makes, he's not going to change
my mind about him by agreeing with me.

You want security, put him in jail.

7. Jenings also commented: DC is not all that unsafe

Didn't Ridge said tarraists were not chattering or nothing?
Of course, where Nofacts goes, nothing he can do or say can redeem his crimes.

8. On Capital Gang tonight Nofacts also said that the protesters
are just thugs and unpatriotic hooligans. He had a few more distasteful words about anyone who would march against this administration. Said it was just sour grapes from the Democrats. He apparently doesn't have a clue about democracy or a republic or anything other than what is on the talk points memo put out each week by Rove. Thankfully, the other pundits put him in his place - said it was the right of every American to speak out and protest against the actions of a government. His false teeth almost fell out of his mouth he was so put in his place. After that is when he started in on the security in DC for the coronation. He was his usual nasty, lying, uninformed reptilian self for the show. Still think his ass needs to be in jail.

I hope Democrats won't ever forget how he try to co-op Robert Matsui for his own evil BS. First Plame, then Matsui just to prop up his massive ego.
