This just freaking makes me cry. It's total BULLSHIT that the enlisted who took part in these pictures are getting all the blame while Donald Rumsfeld toasts in the 2nd term of the idiot's regime.

other than the content of the photos, of course . . . is the ongoing refusal of the US media to show Americans exactly what's happening in Iraq . . . if you watched television news (I don't), all you get is the rosy scenarios favored by BushCo . . . everything's peachy keen, we're winning hearts and minds, nothing to see here, move on . . . anyone who thinks this country has a "free press" is delusional . . .

& welcome to DU. I've seen so many of them that this late at night, before going to bed, I just can't. There a website called The Fire This Time and another called Extreme Deformities that has those pictures too. They're horrid. I don't know how people can sleep at night when they condone and excuse that sort of thing. You're right- it's hidesou- ghastly, and it has to end.
