OMG! How Did I Miss This Quote? (Dean)
With all the contention we had in DU last year, how did this slip through the cracks?

"if Bill Clinton could be the first black president, I can be the first gay president."

LOL. This guy gives me the giggles. He just does. I mean that in a good way.

4. If Dean heads the DNC, what does that mean for a 2008 candidacy?

5. He has said that if he is elected chair of the DNC, he will not
run for president in 2008.

6. Excellent question. My guess is the field will be wide open...
and there won't be any coups behind the scenes to do to any candidate what Dean had done to him. In other words, the grassroots will choose the candidate without "help" from the powerbrokers.

9. Dean is also a feminist
and it cost him in the campaign because he did not ask his wife sooner to participate, because he did not want to "use her as a prop".
