It may be bad for America but

I think it may be good for the world that Bush got reelected. The world now has a common enemy and a common problem. Most in the world are reasonable, they still like Americans as people but Bush and his supporters are widely seen as the enemy in virtually every country except the US itself and Israel. Even in countries whose leaders publicly support Bush the populace is against him.

I'm hoping to use this to as a catalyst to bring people together to work on our common problems, Bush and others. Through the Earthlings United group I have talked to people on every continent and there is a great amount of enthusiasm. The basic idea is that we should work together to achieve victories where and when we can. The US may have to wait until 06 or 08 but every day, somewhere in the world, there is a battle we can fight, people that need our support, and if good people, the world over unite for these battles the right, neocons, big business, etc will never know what hit them.

Earthlings United is a group of activists, writers, artists, musicians and concerned citizens from around the world dedicated to working cooperatively for the principles of peaceful self-determination, environmental protection, human rights, social and economic justice for all people in all nations.

The basic message is that you should be prepared to defend for others those things which you would have for yourself.
