The SOTU shows we need a candidate who will call shrub on his lies

A point was made on here about being "bush lite" or being a "better commander". I think those are losing propositions.

I think the candidates that have called him "out" and can stand by thier word are the ones that will be rewarded.

Being middle of the road does nothing against bush. Looking at shrub's record:

* Bush can't manage a budget
* His education policy has massive holes
* His medicare reform bill screws seniors
* Jobs...where do you start

The mantra of Dean on healthcare and his proven ability balance a budget will be "received well"....you can read the other issue stances on his site.

He is passionate on these issues...and so are seniors about being screwed.

in one of the smallest states in the Union. Kind of like saying "I can jump across a five-foot gap, so now I'm going to do a standing long jump across the Grand Canyon. Should be no problem."

Not very convincing. Not even apples and oranges...more like apples and hand grenades.
