What type of bounce will Bush get from the SOTU?
Edited on Tue Jan-20-04 11:25 PM by BobbyJay
All the whore pundits seem to think it was the best SOTU since sliced bread. Everyone seems to have magically forgot that:

no WMDs

no Osama

huge deficits

no jobs

no healthcare

3. Sounds about right
Bush reinforced his past plan so some that fell off th ewagon will get back on board. The news switches back to New Hampshire by the weekend and the campaign will get on for real around Sept.

4. If he goes above 60%, I will be mad and surprised.
But I don't think any bump he gets will last long.

6. The best part of the whole thing was the Democrats' reaction...
especially when they applauded the Patriot Act expiring.

Did anyone see Clark and Brokaw? Brokaw tried to trap him into admissions that he supported the war initially and wholeheartedly.

I am not a Clark supporter, but I loved seeing someone stand up to one of the talking heads.
