http://rawstory.com/exclusives/byrne/norm_coleman_featured_smile_124.htmTo me, he looks pissy & weak. I sure we Dems get someone to kick his ass in 2006. Is it me, or does he have the Ken Mehlman look? Piss poor job of surgery if you ask me.

1. The most beautiful sentence I've ever heard: "Coleman in violation of |
|
Senate ethics rules." I LOVE IT!

5. Why does it bug me that he speaks with a NY accent? I love all the NY |
|
accents, but not on this Senator who is supposed to represent Minnesota. It really, really bugs me.
In his turncoat pansying-up (he was a Democrat), he comes off as a go-fer and go-with who has NO spine.
When he is on tv, I wish for a button that would blank out the picture and blip out his voice without turning the tv off.
What a whiney wimp.

8. Norm Coleman is out for Norm Coleman-- nobody else |
|
He opportunely switched parties in '98 to run for governor-- when there were already SEVEN declared DFLers running for the seat (including his old boss/mentor, Hubert H. "Skip" Humphrey III). The MN GOP didn't have anybody to run, so the tapped the St. Paul Mayor to run.
St. Paul is STILL trying to recover from his mismanagement of the City. He's a rotten politician, a lying, deceitful S.O.B., and an embarassment to the state.
Norm's going down like a $2 ho in 1996-- you can count on it. The DFL did quite well at the state level this year, keeping control of the state senate and coming within 2 seats of controlling the state house. We've got an unpopular GOP governor who's busy shaking down the Indian casinos for revenue, because he took a "no new taxes" pledge in 2002 when he ran. Public services are going to hell in a handbasket, and the quality of life is getting worse.
It's time for a DFL takeover in 2006. It's the only hope we have of getting our state back on track.
