The Reason Why Repubs Hate Dr. Dean |
|
The overwhelming bashing that Dean takes from the GOP talking heads is because they DO NOT WANT him to be the DNC Chair.
They know that he has all the skills and enthusiasm to put them in the minority.
DEAN FOR DNC CHAIR!

There scared of him. Its like the primaries all over again when Rove said they'd love to run against Dean. About the same time, the GOP spin machine was doing everything possible to make him look bad.

With Dean, they see someone who's not going to be afraid to kick a little ass from time to time, someone who'll stand up to repugs. goper's would love another casper milquetoast.

He is an unlikable person. He comes across as cold and arrogant.
Howard Dean would do wonders for our party.

They're is not "tripping-up" Dean's words. There is power in his words that the Evangelicans would have went for.

6. Can you imagine Dean and chimpy debating |
|
Dean would have pushed so many of chimpy's buttons they would have had to pry his fingers off of Charlie Gibson's throat.

I remember a comment from a Republican strategist during the primaries, and I suspect it holds true for the DNC chair. He commented that he would much prefer Kerry take the nomination than Dean. He believed that the Republican victory over Kerry would be much narrower than it would be over Dean, but also more certain.
In other words, he preferred a closer match that he could control, over one that had a much greater potential upside and downside.
Take that for what you will as far as the DNC chair goes. Dean still comes with a pretty high degree of unpredictability. For good and bad...

Obviously the dem strategy of simply serving up the same old watered down, conservative rhetoric didn't work for Kerry. We need someone like Dean who's not afraid to speak the truth even if it's far left of center. This is a perfect time for someone with Howard Dean's vision to energize our party. After four more years with the monkey George Bush screwing up in the White House America will be ready for some big changes.

Dean is not a person that is necessarily blinded by ideaology. He takes a position, be it left or right, on what he thinks is best for America.
